외부 생식기 피부 질환은 또한 질환군별로 염증성 피부 질환, 성전파성 질환을 포함하는 감염성 질환, 종양성 질환 등으로 분류할 수도 있습니다.

개요	Chronic eczematous inflammation 1차성: 만성적인 자극이나 가려움으로 인한 긁음 등 2차성: lichen sclerosus, lichen planus, vulvar intraepithelial lesion 등에서 2차성으로 발현	Epithelial thining, 특징적인 dermal change와 inflammation을 보이는 만성피부질환	피부와 점막을 침범하는 원인불명의 염증 질환
임상양상/진단
발병연령	모든 연령에서 가능	모든 연령에서 가능: prepubertal / postmenopausal 시기에 흔함	소아에서는 발생하지 않음
병변 양상	피부가 두꺼워 지고 excoriation과 fissure 형성(Lichenified plaques)	perimenopausal women에서 vulvar pruritus로 발현 labium majus나 minora에 국한된 thin, white skin의 형태 심한 가려움증 → scratching → skin hyperplasia → vulvar cancer의 전구 병변 특징적으로 질은 침범하지 않으며, 전신의 병변은 드물다. 병변이 진행된 경우 외음부 외형 상실 Cigarette Paper Appearance	reticular pattern을 가지는 erythematous vestibule과 desquamative vaginitis로 발현 Alopecia 동반 가능 외음부 병변 진행 시 질 협착, labium majus와 minus의 융합으로 인해 외음부 외형 상실 가능
