Esophageal airway: 병원 내원 전이나 기도삽관이 되지 않는 환자 중 무호흡이면서 의식이 없는 성인에서만 사용
1. Esophageal Obturator Airway/Esophageal Gastric Tube Airway
2. Pharyngotracheal Lumen Airway
3. Esophageal Tracheal Combitube(식도 기관 이중 튜브, ETC) 혹은 Combitube
4. Tracheoesophageal Airway

Non-directional non-esophageal sealing: Classic LMA, LMA-flexible, LMA unique
Directional esophageal sealing: Proseal LMA, supreme LMA
Directional non esophageal sealing: Fastrach LMA(= Intubating LMA, ILMA), Ambu LMA (ALMA)

장점	단점
거치가 쉬움 빠르고 안정적으로 위치시킬 수 있음 기관내삽관 처럼 자극이나 합병증 위험이 없음 밀착 정도에 따라 양압환기가 가능한 것도 있음 약물 사용이 필요치 않음 손으로 붙잡고 있을 필요가 없음 목 통증이 적음	비용이 비쌈 재사용 제품의 경우 세척-소독비용추가 흡인을 줄여주지 못함 고압의 양압호흡은 불가능. 세거나 위팽창 가능성 구토유발: 의식 있는 사람에게 사용 시 적절한 마취필요

성문외기도기 삽입 후 Bag을 사용하여 환기할 때 심한 저항이 느껴지거나 가슴이 부풀어 오르지 않는다면? 성문외기도기를 한 번 빼서 확인해 보세요.

공기를 넣어 팽창할 수 있는 기낭(cuff) 유무
- 대부분 기낭 존재
- 기낭이 없는 경우: i-gel, SLIPA 장점: ① 기낭으로 인한 부작용(-): 구강, 인두 손상에 따른 출혈, 사용 후에 발생하는 인후통↓ ② 단점: 거치 후 환기 시 기구 주위로 공기 누출, 거치 실패 가능성↑
1세대 혹은 2세대
1. 1세대 SAD: 기도 유지의 기능만 제공
2. 2세대 SAD: ① 기도 누출압(orolaryngeal leakage pressure)↑ → 양압환기 개선 ② 위배출관(drain tube)(+) → 위내용물의 역류로 인한 폐흡인의 위험성↓
